Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in the Denver metro area seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles while adhering to MAP guidelines and Toscalito standards. You will explain diagnoses to customers and staff, performing repairs with accuracy and safety.

The role offers a starting compensation of $25+ per hour with flag, DOE, and includes benefits like tuition reimbursement, paid time off, health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and advancement

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to work five days per week, including weekends.
• Prefer unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
• Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Store Manager.
• Maintains appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
