Hunter Chevrolet in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. If you have hands-on diagnostic skills, repair expertise, and take pride in quality work, we want to hear from you.

We offer a supportive shop environment with ongoing training, competitive pay, and benefits. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of customer and dealership vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of main shop automotive technician experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer training are highly preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of customer and dealership vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance as well as more complex mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Use modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information to identify and resolve concerns.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle needs and repair recommendations.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and productive shop environment.
