Job summary

Greulich’s Automotive Repair, part of the Sun Auto Network, is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic in Scottsdale to diagnose and repair customer vehicles according to MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards.

The position offers competitive pay ($36k-$120k) commensurate with experience, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and be able to work Mon–Sat.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a minimum of ASE certification or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.
• Recommends services to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition and documents them in the customer file.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
