Qualifications

• Previous experience at an automotive dealership preferred.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and perform repairs.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examines vehicle to determine if further work is required and reports findings.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean and maintains tools and manuals.
