Job summary

Brakes Plus is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspect vehicles for issues, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal vehicle performance for customers.

We require at least 2 years of auto service/diagnostic experience, a valid driver’s license, and tools. ASE certification is a plus. Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $35.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of auto service/engine diagnostic experience in a professional setting
• ASE Certification preferred but not required
• Must have Technician Tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to service vehicles
• Provide high-quality service to customers
• Perform skilled mechanical work and diagnose problems
• Inspect/repair/replace defective parts and perform preventive maintenance
• Stay updated with evolving automotive technology
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards and maintain clean work area
• Work collaboratively with team and management to meet customer needs
