Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to our safety and quality standards, from engines and brakes to steering and suspension. You will join a collaborative team, gain hands-on experience with domestic and foreign cars, and follow EH&S requirements in a modern, climate-controlled facility that supports your growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• Maintain ASE Certifications where required by state/local law.
