Job summary

CarMax West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to our safety and reliability standards. You will work in a modern, climate-controlled facility and join a team that values integrity, innovation, and excellence.

You will gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles while following EH&S guidelines and collaborating with a skilled team to enhance your automotive skills through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications in core areas as required.
