Job description

DARCARS Automotive Group is hiring Experienced Automotive Technicians!

Must be Chrysler Certified

As an Automotive Technician, you are responsible for understanding and completing routine repairs on customer vehicles. You will perform general repairs and diagnostics, including but not limited to light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems (starters and alternators), HVAC systems, steering & suspension systems.

In this role, you'll:

1. Document all work performed and recommendations on repair orders.
2. Accurately use the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
3. Communicate with service advisors regarding additional work or delays.
4. Maintain proficiency per DARCARS standards.
5. Conduct road tests to determine necessary work and verify completed repairs.
6. Perform diagnosis and repairs at all levels.
7. Perform preventive and routine maintenance services.
8. Utilize manufacturer and management training resources.
9. Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training to stay updated on new technology.
10. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index scores at or above company goals.
11. Complete warranty repair documentation and claims.
12. Report safety or operational concerns to management.
13. Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean.
14. Complete required training for compliance with regulations.
15. Safeguard customer vehicles, property, and information per laws and policies.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. 3+ years of automotive technician experience.
2. Chrysler factory training certification preferred.
3. Full ASE certification is a plus.
4. Excellent CSI and quality scores.
5. Proficiency in vehicle maintenance services.
6. Ability to work on complex tasks as part of a team.
7. Minimum age of 18 years.
8. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
9. Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
