Job summary

Audi New Orleans, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, located in Metairie, LA, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician. The role offers a compensation range of $30–$45 per hour and requires an associate-level experience, a valid driver’s license, and pre-employment screening.

The technician will perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in a climate-controlled shop, work with apprentices, and participate in factory-sponsored training

Qualifications

• ASE or manufacturing training is preferred.
• High CSI is a must.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test).

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and prepare for stall work.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions per dealer standards.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document work performed and test drive as required.
• Supervise apprentices and participate in factory training.
