Job summary

TEX TUNE AUTOMOTIVE LLC is growing and seeking A and B technicians who care about the shop's reputation and want to help build something worth being proud of. This role offers a career growth path with the potential to advance from Lead Technician to Shop Manager.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with no weekends. Pay is based on experience and certifications and is paid bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician program is preferred
• ASE certifications a plus — we'll support you in earning more – ASE reimbursement
• Solid diagnostic skills
• Own professional tools
• Valid driver's license
• Japanese import experience a plus (i.e. Toyota, Honda, Subaru)
• European experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fix, and repair vehicles in a timely manner
• Thoroughly inspect every vehicle. This allows the shop to inform the customer of repairs needed, so they drive safe and reliable vehicles.
• Give honest assessments: what needs fixing now, what can wait, and why
• Test drive to verify concerns and confirm repairs before the car goes back to the customer
• Keep your workspace and bay clean and organized and treat every customer vehicle with care.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
