Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s Just Tires division in Thousan Oaks CA is hiring a General Maintenance Technician. Starting pay is $20-$24 hourly, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, tuition assistance, and paid time off.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, service brakes, perform maintenance, and help guests with tire installations and safety checks. Qualified applicants have at least 1 year automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and are at

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs and maintenance.
Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Must be at least 18 years of age; no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving.
Brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
Provide guest service and mentoring to junior automotive technicians.
Document all work on the repair order.
Report safety issues to management.
Promote teamwork to deliver timely guest care during open hours.
Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
Perform manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
