What you'll be working on:

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform appropriate repairs accurately and efficiently
• Conduct multi-point inspections on every vehicle
• Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Learn new technical information and techniques to stay proficient in diagnosis and repair
• Maintain accurate paperwork for customers and records
• Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional services needed
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership policies

What you need to bring:

• At least 1 year of automotive diagnosis and problem-solving experience
• ASE Certifications are a plus
• X-Time/CDK experience is a plus
• DMV check required
• Willingness to participate in in-house training
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

Salary:

$33.00-$90.00/hour, based on experience and skills
