Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician in Rockwall, TX. You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under experienced technicians, delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform oil changes, tire work, and inspections, while engaging with customers to explain repairs and ensure service satisfaction. Flat-rate pay and growth through ASE certifications are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks and apply them on vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving customer/company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills to document service tasks.
• Two years of automotive repair experience preferred or demonstrated skills.
• ASE certification or equivalent training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotate parts.
• Road test vehicles after service.
• Aim for high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop environment.
