Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Rockwall, TX is hiring Automotive Technicians to learn and develop skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians. You will participate in inspections, address various automotive systems, and assist in repair procedures, delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair including oil changes, basic inspections and tire repair.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Work toward ASE certifications within two years; tests paid by company and bonuses for passed tests.
