Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn and develop skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under supervision. You will participate in inspections, assist in repairs, and interact with customers to explain procedures and ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment, with a performance-based, flat-rate pay model and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes, basic inspections and tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests are paid for by the company; bonuses for each test passed.
