Job summary

The Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations plays a pivotal role in our automotive service team. You will learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians, contributing to routine inspections and quality workmanship.

You may interact with customers to explain repair procedures and provide exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company).
