Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations, part of Bridgestone Americas, is seeking an Automotive Technician in Wayne, NJ. You will learn and perform diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under supervision, with opportunities to inspect systems and assist in repair procedures.

Role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Pay range is $21.00–$31.56 hourly with a flat-rate pay model, and company benefits including training and ASE certification

Qualifications

• Must have valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within two years (fees paid by company).
