Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on vehicles in a fast-paced service environment. Under supervision, you will assess systems, communicate with customers, and contribute to high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and growth through on-the-job training and potential ASE certification support.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical skills and be willing to learn.
• Valid automobile driver's license required.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
• Oil changes and routine inspections are part of the role.
• Reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Preferred: 2 years of automotive repair experience or completed vocational program.
• ASE certification or equivalent training is a plus, with company support.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotation as needed.
• Install parts and road-test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years; test fees covered by the company.
