Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in a fast‑paced environment. You will learn under experienced technicians, perform routine inspections, and assist with customer explanations of repair procedures.

This role offers hands‑on learning, potential ASE certification support, and a benefits package including insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Commitment to reading, writing and math skills for everyday tasks.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles as needed.
• Strive to obtain ASE certifications within two years (tests paid by company).
• Support customer communication and service documentation.
