Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under experienced staff. You will participate in routine inspections, assist in repairs, and interact with customers to explain procedures and ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes a hands-on foundation in automotive repair with opportunities to pursue ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires, reading/writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within two years (fees covered by company) and earn bonuses for tests passed.
