Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our Bridgestone Retail Operations team. You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under guidance, with opportunities to communicate with customers about repair procedures and service quality.

Featuring a flat-rate pay model, the role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and ongoing ASE certifications. The team operates in a fast-paced environment with strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred: 2 years of automotive repair experience.
• Preferred: ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed).
