Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. Learn and develop diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills under guidance, with opportunities to earn ASE certifications and grow within our retail environment.

This role emphasizes accurate workmanship, safety, and customer service as you perform oil changes, inspections, tire work, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Help obtain ASE certifications within two years; tests covered by company.

Skills

Basic mechanical aptitude

Valid driver's license

Reading, writing, math skills

Education

Vocational-Technical School program in automotive field

ASE certification or equivalent
