Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Saint Louis, Missouri to perform essential mechanical repairs on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. You’ll handle oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and routine maintenance with supervision, while supporting senior technicians to grow your ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Working knowledge of ASE certification areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision (oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs).
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build your skills.
• Contribute to vehicle reliability and safety to reduce downtime and ensure vehicles are customer-ready.
