Job summary

Volvo Cars Clear Lake is hiring an entry-level/apprentice technician who has recently finished tech school and holds a valid driver's license. The role emphasizes learning, quality diagnostics, and timely repair completion while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Recent tech school graduate or apprentice; entry-level candidate.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to pursue manufacturer training and certifications.
• Ability to follow state and federal regulations regarding hazardous wastes.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical diagnosis with efficiency and accuracy.
• Complete work as assigned on repair orders in a timely fashion.
• Examine vehicles for safety and maintenance items.
• Notify service personnel if work cannot be completed as promised.
• Keep up to date on manufacturer training and certifications.
• Understand and follow regulations governing hazardous waste disposal.
• Help around the shop where needed.
