Job Overview

The Technician Apprentice is responsible for servicing vehicles following all established standards and procedures, which includes rotating tires, performing multi‑point inspections, and changing automotive fluids.

Responsibilities

• Change lube oil and filter in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Check all fluids and maintenance‑related parts and top‑off or replace fluids or filters/parts as required.
• Perform routine service inspections or tests and complete standard maintenance jobs.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
• Help maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensure the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions.
• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired.
• Unrestricted California driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard‑transmission vehicles.
