Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles.
• Handle drivability and electrical diagnostics across all makes and models.
• Complete vehicle inspections and communicate repairs clearly.
• Work with the service department to support customer concerns.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Mentor other technicians and contribute to team results.

As an Automotive Apprentice, you'll work side by side with a Master Technician who'll mentor you through diagnostic and mechanical repairs — building the confidence, experience, and skills it takes to become a successful technician.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles using your knowledge and skill.
• Handle drivability and complex electrical diagnostics across all makes and models.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Work closely with the service department and clearly communicate concerns and needed repairs.
• Help train and mentor other technicians, and deliver distinguished results as a team.

What we're looking for

• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all years, makes, and models of vehicles.

Physical requirements

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 30 pounds.
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
• Work in tight spaces as the repair requires.
• Have the dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
• Walk and stand for the majority of the workday.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles and efficiently navigate a computer.
