Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate in Virginia to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to exacting standards for safety and reliability. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility, gaining hands-on experience across domestic and foreign models while upholding EH&S requirements.

You’ll apply your expertise in engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC, with opportunities for ongoing training and ASE certification as you grow with CarMax.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety compliance understanding.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail; valid driver's license.
