Job summary

Kearny Mesa Toyota, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an Hourly Technician to join our service team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Pay is $24 per hour plus a bonus, with expected annual pay of $50,000–$55,000, and a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, and a company 401k match.

This role works in a busy automotive shop; you will apply safety rules, use shop tools, and communicate clearly with Service Advisors to repair and maintain

Qualifications

• One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
• Completion of vocational training and/or relevant industry certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced automotive shop setting.
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repairs and estimates.
• Adhere to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines during service tasks.
