Job summary

Carvana in Florida is hiring a Technician, Inspection to drive the customer experience at our Inspection Center. You’ll perform routine 150-point inspections, note imperfections, and test controls like back-up cameras and lane departure.

This is an hourly, full-time role with no travel. You should have at least 6 months of automotive technician experience or a trade school degree, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Automotive Technician experience.
• Or automotive trade school degree.
• Must love helping people and drive to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine 150 point inspections/maintenance.
• Record imperfections found during the initial inspection.
• Test controls and features such as back-up cameras and lane departure.
• Follow proper operating rules and standardized work initiatives.
• Work on a variety of vehicle tasks for extended periods.
• Communicate clearly with team members and other departments.
• Maintain a clean and productive work environment.
• Report safety issues to management.
