Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians. You will learn hands-on, perform routine inspections, communicate with customers, and contribute to high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Sign-on bonus of $1,500 for first-time hires.

Pay range: $16.63 - $24.99 hourly. Flat-rate pay rewards productivity, with company-provided ASE certification support and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, and repairing tires.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of Vocational-Technical School program preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests/fees paid by company).
