Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our high-performing team in Webster Groves, MO. ASE certified or with significant hands-on shop experience, you’ll diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles with a focus on quality work and reliability.

We offer a flag rate pay structure with 30 guaranteed hours per week, benefits including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and strong career growth in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles for safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general maintenance.
• Obtain Missouri state inspections or certification to do so.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations.

What Our Technicians Do

What We Need
