Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Green Bay, WI seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles.

ASE certified or 5+ years in a professional shop is preferred; Missouri State Inspector License or ability to obtain one is required, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Work with the team to keep the shop operating safely and efficiently.
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations to customers.

What Our Technicians Do

• Technicians diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.

What We Need

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop .
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one .
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.
