Warner’s Auto Body of Granville, located in upstate New York, has been a family-owned and operated business since 1981. We pride ourselves on providing quality sales and services with over 40 years of experience in the automotive industry. Our shop offers a wide range of services, from engine repairs to oil changes. We are a certified New York State facility with skilled mechanics, and our shop manager brings over 30 years of experience. We provide 24/7 towing and recovery services, and we work with multiple insurance companies to ensure seamless repairs.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Technician located in Granville, NY 12832. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including vehicle maintenance, performing oil changes, diagnosing and completing automotive repairs, and maintenance and repair tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
  • Perform advanced diagnostics for engine performance and chassis systems
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Skills in vehicle maintenance
  • Experience in automotive repair
  • Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Knowledge of OE scan tools
  • Ability to learn new tools as needed
