Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our automotive diagnostics team. This position involves hands-on work with vehicle communication systems, ECU flashing, and diagnostic testing using Vector tools. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of CAN communication and a keen interest in automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and ECU flashing on automotive systems using Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash).
- Support development and validation of vehicle communication protocols (CAN).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vehicle software and communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to execute test plans and document results.
- Maintain detailed records of flashing activities and diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- 1 year of experience with CAN communication protocols.
- 1 year of hands-on experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in automotive diagnostics or ECU flashing.
- Knowledge of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) and other automotive communication standards.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or vehicle testing environment.
