Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on vehicle experience and the ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with electronic systems in vehicles.
• Proven ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and parts handling with attention to safety and quality.
• Experience mounting sensors, racks, and performing body-work related alignments as needed.
• Must be able to read codes, analyze root causes, and implement fixes.

Responsibilities

Trillium Professional is now seeking an Automotive / Vehicle Build Technician in Santa Clara!

Pay rate is $35/hour.

Job Description:

• Perform routine vehicle inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and parts handling/inventory.
• Routine vehicle maintenance includes tire mounting, rotate and balance, oil change, lube, etc.
• Assist with troubleshoot, diagnosis, and replacement of mechanical and electrical/electronic parts (assemblies, sub-assemblies or individual parts).
• Maintain automotive tools and equipment, as well as a safe and clean work environment.
• Document activities, repairs, and support. Follow automotive maintenance manuals, guidelines, and procedures.
• Assist in parts and supplies handling, organization, and inventory control.
• Assess workshop requirements for parts and supplies and compile ordering information.

Qualifications/Key Responsibilities:

• 10+ years of experience (manager will be more selective to reduce downtime/training needed)
• Ability to work on vehicles independently
• Strong understanding of rack of electronics in the trunk of a vehicle, sensors, cables, etc.
• Experience with mounting sensors and racks/maintenance repairs (will send out when body work alignment is needed)
• Oil and tire changes
• Check error codes, root cause analysis
• Strong experience using diagnostic tools
• Problem solving, clear and concise verbal and written communication, team player, and detail oriented.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks on vehicles.
