Job summary

Import Autowerks in Quincy, MA is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to service import vehicles, perform routine maintenance, oil changes, inspections, and diagnostics.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, conduct test drives, document repairs, and communicate findings to service advisors while following safety standards and quality guidelines. ASE certification or equivalent training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of suspension systems, including inspection, repair, and replacement of related components.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, service manuals, and computerized systems.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders, technical documentation, and wiring diagrams.
• Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and consistent quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with a service team.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Formal automotive training, relevant certifications (e.g., ASE), or equivalent experience preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Quincy, MA.
