Job summary

Corwin Ford Tri-Cities in Pasco, WA, is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians to join our growing service team. We’re preparing for the opening of a new Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Center in December, offering room to grow, expand skills, and be part of an exciting new chapter for the dealership.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience required.
• Ford experience is a plus.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair passenger vehicles, light-duty, and commercial vehicles.
• Perform maintenance on brakes, suspensions, engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle concerns accurately.
• Complete customer-pay, warranty, and recall repairs to standards.
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed maintenance or repairs.
• Communicate findings with Service Advisors and maintain repair records.
• Participate in Ford training and certification opportunities.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.

Some existing certifications may transfer toward Ford Technician Certification, and we’ll help qualified technicians continue advancing their credentials through paid training and certification opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and repair passenger vehicles, light-duty trucks, and commercial vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs involving brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and drivability systems
• Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle concerns accurately
• Complete customer-pay, warranty, and recall repairs to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed maintenance or repairs
• Communicate findings with Service Advisors and maintain accurate repair documentation
• Participate in ongoing Ford training and certification opportunities
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Automotive repair experience is required
• Ford experience is a plus!
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
• Certifications from manufacturers and/or ASE Certification are highly desirable; transferable certifications to Ford will be advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
