Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care in Norwalk is seeking automotive technicians of all levels to join our growing team. You will work in a total car care repair center on jobs from routine maintenance to complex repairs, including transmissions, electrical diagnostics, and more.

If you are reliable, have at least 3 years of experience, bring your own tools, hold a valid driver's license, and can multi-task in a fast-paced shop, we want you.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience required.
• Appropriate tools necessary for service performed.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work every day.
• Multi-tasking ability required.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• General automotive repairs.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, air conditioning and computer systems.

Come Grow with Us! Looking for all levels of Automotive Technician to join our growing team!

As a technician, you will be working in a total car care repair center, with jobs ranging from standard maintenance to transmission R&R, to electrical diagnostics and everything in between.

Other responsibilities will include:

• General automotive repairs


• Diagnose and repair automotive systems - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems


• Transmission Removal and Installation


• Maintain an organized work environment

Job Requirements

• To be qualified you must have at least 3+ years of automotive repair experience.
