Job summary

McCandless Ford Meadville, Inc. in Meadville, PA is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair Ford vehicles, using advanced diagnostic equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates hold a PA Safety Inspection License and Ford certification (or can obtain it), with ASE certification and a high school diploma. You provide your own tools and join a collaborative team focused on growth and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must have PA Safety Inspection License.
• Emissions Inspection License a plus.
• Are a team player and own/tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrate diagnostic skills with electronic equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings clearly.
• Maintain tools and workspace, ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• 1+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Ford certification required (or the ability to obtain Ford certification).
• Pennsylvania State Inspection License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
