Group 1 Automotive in Lubbock, TX is growing and hiring Automotive Technicians to join our service team. You should be passionate about customer service, take pride in your work, and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about employees.

As a technician you will perform high-quality repairs, conduct diagnostics, maintain a safe work area, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Technician is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
