Job summary

Midway Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our Kearney service team. This role offers consistent work, a modern facility, and support from an established dealership group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive technician experience with ASE cert or trade school training.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with attention to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Use modern diagnostic equipment and service tools.
• Complete quality repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to move vehicles through the shop.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Full-Time
• In-Person
• No weekends

Compensation

• $32 – $42 per hour
• Strong flat-rate earning potential
• Consistent workflow in a high-volume service environment

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns
• Use modern diagnostic equipment and service tools
• Complete quality repairs efficiently and accurately
• Work with service advisors and other technicians to keep vehicles moving through the shop

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of automotive technician experience, ASE certification, or automotive trade school training
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume service environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Dependable, team-oriented approach
