Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in the Denver area is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles. The role requires diagnosing with appropriate certifications and experience, following MAP guidelines and Toscalito standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.
• Ability to work five days per week, including weekends.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and customers.
• Recommends services necessary to keep the vehicle running and documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to the Store Manager.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

The Junior Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Toscalito standards.

Compensation: Ranges from $25 +, plus flag, DOE.*Junior Technicians - Hourly + Flag
