Job summary

Sun Auto Tire and Service is hiring a Senior Automotive Technician in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The technician will diagnose and repair customer vehicles effectively while following MAP guidelines and dealership standards.

Experience with ASE certifications is preferred. Benefits include competitive bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, medical insurance, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work five days per week, including weekends.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.

We have immediate openings for experienced Auto Technicians in Denver Area.

The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Toscalito standards.

Compensation: Ranges from $25 to $55 flag, depending on experience* Junior Techn - Hourly + Flag* Senior Tech - Flag Only

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
• Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Store Manager.
• Maintains appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
