SUMMIT VIEW HOLDING COMPANY LLC is seeking an Automotive Technician for our dealership service center in Hamburg, PA. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, using scan tools and computer software, and possessing extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

You will perform maintenance, inspections, and quality control procedures while maintaining clear communication with customers and service staff. A minimum of 3 years' automotive repair experience and proper licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Associates degree or completed automotive tech program preferred.
• Ability to diagnose drivability, electrical, suspension, steering, brake and engine issues.
• State and emission inspection license required.
• EPA Section 609 A/C certification required.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools and codes to evaluate vehicle issues.
• Help establish service center procedures and document repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance: tire rotations, oil changes, brake pad replacements.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes and other systems in depth.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Explain repair information clearly to customers.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful dealership service center.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the Scan tool/computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
• Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications
