Job summary

SawgrassINFINITI is seeking a full-time Automotive Technician at our Fort Lauderdale, FL location. You will perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, oil changes, and tire services on INFINITI and other vehicles, diagnosing issues and completing repairs as needed.

You will also work on suspension and brake systems, document work, and communicate with service advisors to ensure timely service. A clean, safe work area and adherence to OEM guidelines are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and service procedures.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience reading repair manuals and diagnostic reports is a plus.
• Familiarity with OEM guidelines and dealership processes.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at SawgrassINFINITI in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this position, the technician performs routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, and tire services on INFINITI models and other vehicles as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing automotive repairs, and conducting suspension and brake work in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. The technician documents all work performed, communicates clearly with service advisors, and helps ensure that vehicles are serviced efficiently and returned to customers in excellent condition. This role also involves maintaining a clean, organized work area, using proper tools and equipment, and following dealership and OEM guidelines for quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine services such as Oil Changes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Automotive Repair and broader Maintenance & Repair tasks.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Suspension diagnosis, repair, and alignment adjustments.
• ASE certification or equivalent automotive technician credentials are preferred.
• Previous experience in a dealership or professional automotive service environment is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic reports.
• Strong attention to detail, safety-focused work habits, and reliable time management.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
