Job summary

New Motors Subaru in Erie, PA is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

You will perform routine maintenance, document work and parts, and collaborate with service advisors to deliver outstanding customer service. A valid license, ASE certification or willingness to obtain it, and PA emissions licenses are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• PA State and Emissions Licenses.

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and repairs on Subaru vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Conducting diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and proposing effective solutions
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Working closely with service advisors to provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns
