Monaco Ford of Niantic, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with a focus on quality service for customers in the Niantic area.

This is a full-time hourly position offering opportunities for growth, factory training, and participation in incentive programs, with a commitment to a safe, productive work environment and strong teamwork within the service department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Utilize computer diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Provide clear estimates and exceptional customer service to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Continue knowledge through dealership training and development opportunities.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician required
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
