Job Description

As a BMW Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles. You'll be at the forefront of innovative automotive diagnostic technologies.

• Receive and carry out Repair Orders as dispatched.
• Perform diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
• Perform high-quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, in accordance with Center and Factory standards.
• Conduct Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintain an organized, clean workspace and account for dealership and personal tools at all times.
• Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
• Participate in continual BMW proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading BMW automotive technologies and processes.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with employer’s values in all interactions. You are a passionate, skilled, and dedicated individual excited to work on The Ultimate Driving Machine. You are highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess solid organizational and time-management skills. You are excited about innovative technologies, preferably have previous European brand service repair experience, and are committed to Fix it Right the First Time to provide the ultimate customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Own a valid driver's license.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent.
• Previous European automotive technician experience is a plus.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must perform duties and responsibilities safely.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background check, MVR check, and maintenance of a valid driver's license.
