Job summary

Jobtailor in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an automotive technician to perform complex repairs and diagnostics on engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems. You will use advanced diagnostic equipment, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires ASE certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months (AAA sponsorship), ability to lift 75 lbs, valid driver's license, and willingness to work Saturdays as part of a regular

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment.
• ASE certifications or ability to obtain in 12 months – paid for by AAA.
• Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule.
• The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

• Perform repairs including fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Clean and maintain test equipment and machines.
• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Accurately perform maintenance and advanced automotive repairs/diagnosis for engine repair, automatic/manual transmissions, suspension/steering, brakes, ABS/traction control, electrical, and heating/AC.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow safety procedures.
