Job summary

Baumchevybuick in Clinton, IL is seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair light- and medium-duty GM vehicles. You will collaborate with Service Advisors and Managers to clearly communicate repair needs and recommendations.

Duties include multi-point inspections, routine maintenance, recalls and warranty work on GM vehicles, and maintaining GM training requirements. Candidates should have dealership experience, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 50

Job description

This is a full-time position as an Automotive Technician. The purpose of this position is to provide quality diagnosis and repair of light duty and medium duty vehicles. This position will be responsible for working with Service Advisors and Managers to effectively communicate repair needs and recommendations.

Schedule*:43.5 Hours per week. Current scheduling is as follows

• Monday: 7:30am-6:00pm, 1 hour lunch
• Tuesday: 7:30am-5:00pm, 1 hour lunch
• Wednesday: 7:30am-5:00pm, 1 hour lunch
• Thursday: 7:30am-5:00pm, 1 hour lunch
• Friday: 7:30am-5:00pm, 1 hour lunch

Pay is based on experience and level of GM training. Preference will be given to a technician with established GM training and experience, however, all candidates will be considered.
